Thomas Muller continued his scoring streak for Bayern Munich in their Wednesday night Champions League match against Olympiacos. Thomas Muller gave Bayern the lead in the 52nd minute with a long range effort just outside the box. His shot did look like it was a cross until it ended in the net. But Muller was to have the final say as he doubled his tally for the night from the penalty spot after his team mate, Coman was fouled in the eighteen yards box by Olympiacos defender Arthur Masuaku.

Though Ideye, did save a goal for his team when he cleared Robert Lewandowski effort off the line. Bayern dominated all night but unable to break the deadlock until Muller scored a stunner. Olympiacos did try to get back into the as the clock wind down but could not find an equalizer and then Bayern struck again with two quick goals in the closing stages of the game. This took Muller’s tally for Bayern this season, to eight goals in all competitions.
Prior to this game Marco Silva’s team, Olympiacos were on an eleven game unbeaten run but it was Pep Guardiola’s men who maintained their perfect start this season with a sixth win on Wednesday night.
