Borussia Dortmund have completed the signing of Sebastian Rode from rivals Bayern Munich for an undisclosed fee.

Rode, 25, arrived in Dortmund on Monday to complete a medical and put the finishing touches to a four-year deal at Signal Iduna Park. Speaking after BVB confirmed the deal, the former Eintracht Frankfurt man said: “I am a childhood BVB fan and therefore am really looking forward to playing for my favourite club.

“Thomas Tuchel is a top-class coach. I am looking forward to the new challenge and my first home game in black and yellow in the Signal Iduna Park.” Rode had been heavily linked with a move away from Bayern this summer after falling out of favour at the Allianz Arena, starting just 11 league games over two seasons.

The Bundesliga champions’ chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge explained: “Sebastian Rode asked us free him from his contract because he sees the opportunity to play regularly for Dortmund.”

Rode is the latest transfer involving Dortmund and Bayern to take place, with Mats Hummels having swapped the former to join Carlo Ancelotti’s side last month.

imagesArsenal coach, Arsene Wenger is hoping that his team would continue their good form as they welcome FC Bayern to the Emirates stadium tomorrow. A win against Bayern is also vital if they are to move forward from the group stage. They have so far lost their last two matches meaning they are in the knife edge and anything less than a win tomorrow might be the end of their Champions League campaign this season. Arsenal have been in good form in the Premier League this season. Their last three scores have been 5-3 against Leicester City, 3-0 against Manchester United and 3-0 against Watford last weekend. Arsenal fans would be hoping their star player Alexis Sanchez would lead the pack to a victory.

On the other hand, Bayern Munich have kept a 100% win record this season. Last weekend they set a new Bundesliga after winning 9 out 9 matches since the start of the season. Lewandowski has been on great scoring form for both club and country. Bayern in the process have knocked aside the likes of Borrusia Dortmund and Wolfsburg who their only Bundesliga contenteders.

Both Wenger and guardiola would have to go back to the drawing table as this game looks like one that would be won by the books.

It was a match poised to be Bayern Munich toughest league match this season as they have already won seven league matches consecutively even in the absence some of their most lethal players. But they got off easily while replicating their score line of 5-1 against Wolfsburg two weeks back. German striker Thomas Muller opened the scoring for the Bundesliga champions when he received a long pass from team mate Jerome Boateng which he controlled well to beat on rushing Burki before lashing a left footed shot into the open net. Muller doubled his tally from the penalty spot just nine minutes later as Thiago Alcantara went down in the box after being tackled by Henrikh Mkhitaryan. With ten minutes before the end of the first half Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang tapped in from close range to give Dortmund a glimmer of hope but that was to be their only goal in the contest.

All hopes of a comeback for Dortmund was killed off just twenty three seconds into the second half as Roberto Lewandowski got his name on the score sheet with a shot from close range with a pass from Jerome Boateng, that was to be the strikers first for the night and the defenders second assist of the game. Lewandowski again, met a low cross for Mario Gotze on the right which he converted to make it 4-1. The game was far from over as there was one more goal to come from Mario Gotze and this time it was assisted by Thiago Alcantara. The win means that Bayern get to maintain their 100% league start and extend their lead to seven points at the top of the table.

Bayern Munich striker, Roberto Lewandowski cannot just stop banging in the goals. The polish international went scored a hat-trick at the Allianz arena during their champions league match to take his tally to 10 goals in 3 games. Lewandowski who moved from Borrusia Dortmund to Bayern in the summer of 2013 started his recent scoring rage last week, when he came off the bench in the second half to score five goals in their match against Wolfsburg. Wolfsburg had earlier taken the lead in the first half of the match after a combination of passes game them access to Bayern 18 yard box. The home team could not respond in that half, but Lewandowski came on in the second half to score five goals in 9 minutes. He became the first ever Bundesliga player to score that amount of goal in such a short period of time. Even his coach Pep Guardiola was left in awe as camera caught him with hands on his head and mouth wide open after Lewandowski scored his fifth goal of the match.

He continued his scoring in the weekend as his brace and a goal from Mario Gotze was all Bayern need to put aside Mainz in front of the home fans. And during their Champions League match on tonight, he scored a hat trick as Bayern Munich cruised to a 5-0 victory over Dynamo Zagreb to go top of their group in the Champions League. Brazilian attacker, Costa opened the scoring for the host before Lewandowski capitalized on a defensive error to open his account for the night. Mario Gotze scored the next, and then Lewandowski added another to make it 4-0 just after 29 minutes. But he was made to wait until the second half to complete his hat-trick as Zagreb’s defense was destroyed and he had no issues chipping an easy one over Eduardo.

Robert Lewandowski succeded in attracting all the fans after the historical achievement he made against Wolfsburg, during round 5 of Bundesliga, where he could socre 5 goals in just 10 minutes. What’s the secret of Lewa ?

Robert Lewandowski could never forget those crazy 9 minutes in his entire life, when he succeded in making an ideal football show in the history of Bundesliga, HE SCORED 5 GOALS IN LESS THAN 10 MINUTES in the guests’ goal and helped his team win the match. That happened when the Bavarians hosted Wolfsburg ( last season DFB-Pokal’s Champion) last night September 22th, in Bundesliga Round 5.

This spherical presentation by Lewandowski didn’t only amaze the audience, but even Lewandowski himself was surprised, which is clearly evident in his statement when he said: “I personally do not know how I made these five goals.”

An amazing talent in the level of Messi and C.Ronaldo

Nobody can deny the great talent in the legs of Lewa, he got the title of best striker in the world, when he was playing for Borussia Dortmund, and he even led Dortmund to get the title of the Bundesliga in 2011 and 2012… and now Lewandowski is one of the best worldwide strikers. Many footbal observers believe that his performance reached the level of the Legendary Messi and Cristiano.

Many football observers see that the criteria of evaluating football strikers has changed a lot, comparing Lewandowski to the legend Gerd Muller is logical but that’s not always true. The football has developed and become more complex, which means that the striker has become required to make much greater effort than it was the situation in the past, and what did Lewandowski with his team against Wolfsburg is the best evidence to prove that the Polish striker has unique talent.

Reasons behind his legendary success

Of Course, his 5 goals against Wolfsburg weren’t the only indicator of his amazing talent in football, but football experts say that his attitude is the main reason behing his success, Lewa is ambitious and calm too which is evident in his relationship with the Spanish coach Pep Guardiola, despite his recent exclusion from the starting lineup in Tuesday’s game, Lewandowski kept his cool and he has even achieved miracles after replacing Alcantara.

There is no doubt that the decision of the Bavarian Administration of adding Lewandowski was the right one, and then, it was the cheapest of its players, as he moved from Dortmund to Bayern without any financial compensation because of the expiration of his contract with Dortmund.

It is logical that Lewandowski’s brilliance would attract the attention of BIG clubs, especially English clubs who have high financial capabilities… Would money entice Bayern Munich Management and let go the Polish special talent ? Or it will take decisive action to preserve the unique Lewandowski ? Note that Lewandowski contract with the Bavarian team runs up to 2019.

Arturo Vidal and Kingsley Coman both scored their first Bundesliga goals for Bayern Munich as they cruised to a comfortable 3-0 over newly promoted side Darmstadt. The home team took the lead through Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal as he fired from long range 20 minutes into the game. Young Coman was handed his first start as Pep Guardiola shuffled his team in a bid to rest his key players for their Tuesday match against Wolfsburg. The 19 years old thanked his coach for the opportunity with a goal just seventeen minutes into the second half of the game. Sebastian Rode who was involved in Coman’s goal also got one for himself later in the game to complete the goal scoring on Saturday afternoon. The win took Bayern to 15 points from five games and saw them maintain their 100 percent start to the season.

Vidal had the first attempt of the game after he was played in by Coman but he saw his effort wide off the post. Douglas Costa then hit the side netting with a free kick before handing Vidal the ball to open the scoring for the hosts in the 20th minute of the game. Darmstadt tried to get back into the game but were denied by Manuel Neuer before Marcel Heller missed a good chance to draw level for his team. Pep Guardiola’s team continued to dominate possession in the second half of the game and they were rewarded when Sebastian Rode set up Coman to finish from close range. Bayern got their third almost immediately as Rode went solo and converted from close range too after seeing his initial effort come off the post. This ended the pursuit for Darmstadt but their performance in the game showed better days would come soon for the newly promoted side.
