It was a match poised to be Bayern Munich toughest league match this season as they have already won seven league matches consecutively even in the absence some of their most lethal players. But they got off easily while replicating their score line of 5-1 against Wolfsburg two weeks back. German striker Thomas Muller opened the scoring for the Bundesliga champions when he received a long pass from team mate Jerome Boateng which he controlled well to beat on rushing Burki before lashing a left footed shot into the open net. Muller doubled his tally from the penalty spot just nine minutes later as Thiago Alcantara went down in the box after being tackled by Henrikh Mkhitaryan. With ten minutes before the end of the first half Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang tapped in from close range to give Dortmund a glimmer of hope but that was to be their only goal in the contest.

All hopes of a comeback for Dortmund was killed off just twenty three seconds into the second half as Roberto Lewandowski got his name on the score sheet with a shot from close range with a pass from Jerome Boateng, that was to be the strikers first for the night and the defenders second assist of the game. Lewandowski again, met a low cross for Mario Gotze on the right which he converted to make it 4-1. The game was far from over as there was one more goal to come from Mario Gotze and this time it was assisted by Thiago Alcantara. The win means that Bayern get to maintain their 100% league start and extend their lead to seven points at the top of the table.

  1. Okay well I’m 14 and I have played socecr ever since I was like 4! And I was a firefox for a couple years! Well it’s verry simple there is a ball and a goal (obviously) and at your age you will have 22 players on the field (11 from each team) there will most likely be a couple forward, midfields, and defense, it depinds on the formation. Watch some collage leagues or go to your high school socecr games! And try to go to as many camps as you can before you start to play! And when you sigh. Up ask for a team that just moved up to U14, that way so your not with players that have all played for a long time! If you have any friends that play socecr ask them if they can teach you some things and help you out! Well good luck I hope you do good!
